2009.08.27

Today’s actually wasn’t that bad, all in all. And in case you’re interested, the high was 19 rounds today, which is nuts.

Warm up:
5 rounds of: 1 minute of jumping jacks
10 sit-ups, 10 hands-to-knees, 10 V’s

You have a minute to finish the sit-ups/hands-to-knees/V’s. If you finish faster than that, you get to rest until you hit 60 seconds. If you don’t finish, start on the next set of jumping jacks. So, a total of 10 minutes of work for the warm up.

Workout:
As Many Rounds As Possible in 20 minutes of:
10 overhead squats
10 good morning’s
10 jump box (minimum of 4 high)
10 dips (use the same height as the jump box)

If you haven’t done the exercises before:
· Hands-to-kneesLie on your back, touch your right elbow to left knee & vice versa for a single rep
· V’SLie on your back, lift your legs & touch your toes as you do that
· Overhead squatGrab a bar & hold it over your head in a wide grip, making a Y with your upper body. Do an air squat with your arms locked. The bar should be directly over your torso, and your weight should be on your heels. If you don’t have yourself balanced properly, you’ll start tipping forward
· “Good Morning”Grab the bar, rest it on your shoulders behind your head. Legs about shoulder-width apart, bend your knees slightly. Bend at the waist, as if you’re bowing forward. Keep the lower body still & face forward as you do this
